Default My minions can be afflicted with bleeding?!?

I could've SWORN that during a fight with some tengu I saw some of my minions comming back with bleeding status (the effect of red that swirls around them).

This bothers me. My minions should be of the undead flavor. No disease, no bleeding, etc.

Can anyone confirm this (I'm at work at the time of this posting)?

Seeing as how your minions have a finite lifespan (they die when their hitpoints hit zero), I guess logically it's the equivalent of "bleed" so they make it appear as such. Don't know, I'm not a necro. But your pets do eventually die regardless and they lose hitpoints the whole Time.

They can bleed, blind, cripple, and burn.

I know, they're not 'fleshy' creatures, and probably shouldn't even have blood, but they do indeed bleed.

They can be affected by any condition and there are 2 skills if I remember correctly, one that will transfer all your negative conditions to minion and one that transfers all of a minions negative conditions to you.
Undead are traditionally immune to crits, sneak attacks, blindness, etc etc because they are undead and the only way to beat them is to smash them to smiterines , smite them with divine powers or charr grill them with rightous fireballs.
Alas this maybe true of undead in GW, but it is definately not the case with undead minions, if they where demons you summoned I could beleive it, but undead not on your life. In game they are still usefull and reasonable powerful if used with strategy just not your atypical undead summons from the fantasy gendra.

Should they or shouldn't they be real undead, thats the debate, alongside with removale of degen and limiting amount of summons available, but thats a topic worthy of flames.
